JEWELLERY WORKSHOP

SMYKBAR offers different types of workshops where you will learn wire-wrapping techniques and acquire the skills to create more advanced jewellery with our selection of pearls as well as your own vintage pearls.

Our workshops are open to all, but specifically for those who have visited us before and would like to create jewellery more technically advanced. A workshop in wire-wrapping is a three-hour long course where you will be taught by one of our talented instructors. Your instructor will teach you the skills to wrap with wire and chain. Everyone within the group is able to receive one-on-one help whenever needed. Come alone, or with someone you care about.

Price for workshop

The price of a workshop covers the teacher’s time, materials for 1 piece of jewellery, as well as our large selection of beautiful seed beads. We also recommend that you put aside a budget for our gemstones and freshwater pearls.

Prices per. real pearl or gemstone typically ranges from 5-40 DKK. We also have more precious pearls and gemstones for you to choose from - for example, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and large baroque pearls - which cost 45-75 DKK per piece.

You can also buy chains limited to our workshops.

If you have mastered the wire-wrapping technique with time to spare as well as your instructor’s approval – and you would like to make something else, you will receive a 20% discount on the base price of your next piece of jewellery.

The minimum age is 12 years old. Our workshop requires concentration over several hours.

Terms of purchase for wire-wrapping workshops

When booking a workshop, you will need to pay the base price of 349 DKK per. person in advance. The deposit can only be refunded if you cancel no less than 48 hours before your booking. If cancelled less than 48 hours from the start of the workshop, the deposit will not be refunded. You also will not be allowed to rebook another workshop. We reserve the right to cancel and refund the deposit if there are fewer than 4 participants booked into a workshop.

How to book workshops

Select from the available workshop (jewellery course) times. When you book a workshop, you will be asked to pay in advance with your credit card.

If you are booking for a group of 6-7 people, then you can also write to us about holding a wrapping workshop just for your group.
